Recently, the level of bad debts has been increasing notably in credit operations of financial institutions and credit operators. These bad debts will become non-performing loans (NPL) and continue to fall in a write-off-list (WO) shortly. Financial institutions and credit operators might be facing bankruptcy if they lately take action on this critical issue on time. Therefore, financial institutions and credit operators should invest in enhancing capacity of their staff on how to manage bad debts effectively to minimize this considerable impact and to improve their credit performance to match with the recent credit matured market.

After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Define the meaning of bad debt from different terms and the causes and types of loans problem.
  • Deeply understand about default and bad debt management.
  • Develop workable structure for managing bad debts effectively.
  • Manage and solve bad debts by using practical methodology.
